Mobile App Development

Providing a seamless experience for your mobile users is our top priority.

The Growth of Mobile

As of today, there are nearly 6.4 billion smartphone users which is a little bit over 80% of the world's population. And this number is expected to grow up to 7.5 billion by 2026. Inevitably, mobile applications have changed our daily activities and are already an essential part of our lives. There is an app for almost everything we do, no matter personal or work-related. So, for modern businesses, having a mobile app is no longer a luxury, but rather a necessity. We make things possible by utilizing the devices' native capabilities. Usually, if you want to support both Android and iOS platforms, you would need to build two separate apps, which comes at a higher cost. Recently however, the popularity of cross-platform development has gained traction and now it makes it possible to only have a single codebase that works for both platforms. This allows you to reduce the time needed to deliver your solution to the market and also enables you to reach all your audience at the same time, regardless of the mobile devices that they are using.

Meet React Native

React Native is a hugely popular and widely-adopted framework. It is considered to be the top choice for cross-platform mobile app development, as it lets developers create awesome solutions without losing the speed, capabilities and user experience of native apps. Moreover, having a single codebase will shorten the development time which will respectively reduce the overall cost of your project. A lot of big companies and some of today's most popular apps, even complex ones, are taking advantage of the endless possibilities of using React Native - Facebook, Instagram, Bloomberg, Discord and UberEats.

Will the App Look the Same on Android and iOS?

While with some additional effort we could make them look identical, that is not preferable. Both platforms offer different sets of features and have certain platform-specific UI guidelines and patterns that designers and developers ought to follow. The purpose of React Native is not to make the application behave and appear the same, but rather to provide us with a way to access the underlying native features and components on Android and iOS respectively.

Are Cross-Platform Apps the Same as Hybrid Apps?

You may want to look at hybrid mobile apps as the predecessor of cross-platform ones. Before React Native existed, there were other technologies and tools that offered the same "develop once, deploy anywhere" approach. However, hybrid apps have one major flaw - they are typically built using web technologies, but the code is never translated to the native language of the platform. So, while they somehow did the job, it was at the heavy cost of slow speed, mediocre user experience and missing capabilities.
